Organic agriculture is a holistic production management system which promotes and enhances agro-ecosystem health, including biodiversity, biological cycles and soil biological activity. It emphasizes the use of management practices in preference to the use of off-farm inputs, taking into account that regional conditions require locally adapted systems. Moreover, the cost of agriculture has increased manifold with declining yield levels and growing dependence on market for purchase of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
Hence the most urgent step is application of bio-products in order to ensure better and safe environment without any reduction in yield of crops.

This is accomplished by using, where possible,
agronomic, biological and mechanical methods, as opposed to using synthetic materials, to fulfill any specific function within the system.
One of the essential elements distinguishing organic farming from other forms of sustainable agriculture is the existence of production standards and certification procedures. We follow established guidelines that have been widely adopted for organic production and processing.
Rice, Jute, Sugarcane, tobacco, cotton, Potato, Pulses, Wheat, Tea and Tobacco are the principal crops. The vegetables which is largely produced in the Khulna division and the southern part of the Country. The crop sub-sector dominates the agriculture sector contributing about 72% of total production. Fisheries, livestock and forestry sub-sectors are 10.33%, 10.11% and 7.33% respectively.
